What an adrenalin rush!
When I was contacted by a Motivating Mate to go Gorge Walking, I wasn't even sure what it was but it turned out to be exactly what the label says - walking down a beautiful gorge... some of the time anyway. I had a clue from the fact that we had to wear wetsuits, floatation jackets and helmets that it was going to involve a degree of adrenalin.
Imagine you are a log and throw that log into a gushing river, watch it tumble along eddies, through white water and over small descents of varying types with a constant babble of sound and a green canopy of trees overhead...that's what it was like for me! Add to that the encouragement, wet helping hands, teasing, screaming and laughter of a bunch of people who are all up for some fun - and we had a great time.
Can't wait to try Coasteering next... anyone who would like to come along get in touch, my User ID is CeriDee

After three years I've finally experienced caving
I have always wanted to go caving but never had anyone to go with, that was until I contacted members from MotivatingMates.com.
The caving activity took place in a man made cave at the Welsh International Climbing Centre, Braveheart, Sezwho, Anupsaund, Legin76 and myself Trinity squeezed through the tightest spaces and got absolutely drenched. Both instructors were fantastic although their attempts to recreate the film Descent were a flop. A great time was had by all and we are now planning a gorge walk in Swansea so if anyone is interested contact me Trinity.

I found my MotivatingMate at 13,000 feet
At the age of 74, people might think twice about jumping onto a plane, let alone jumping out of one. But not Dilys Price, a thrill-seeking pensioner who has now skydived 1,031 times.
As a MotivatingMate on the site Dilys Motivated Neil Wright, Nicola Morgan and Gaynor Lougher to also parachute, read the full article http://www.motivatingmates.com/InTheNews/Dilys_Parachute%20PDF.pdf

They were strangers...but now they're training together
Caron Jennings and Tim Broome were strangers but now their training together to run a half-marathon later this year.
After meeting through MotivatingMates.com, Caron, who is single and 33, a fundraising manager for the Royal National Institute for the Blind, encouraged Tim to take part in the RNIB’s Race the Train in August. Tim, who is 25 and married, is hoping the site will find him a sporting partner for triathlon training.
